Dyarco International Group W.L.L, the leading provider of services for establishing various businesses in Qatar and a subsidiary of Al Faisal Holding, celebrated Qatar’s second National Sports Day, by participating in a walkathon at the Corniche on Feb 12, 2013. The walkathon, which drew participation from the management and staff of Dyarco, began at 9am from near Sheraton Hotel, followed by a walk through the Corniche and finally returning to the starting point near Sheraton Hotel.

The employees of Dyarco walked the entire course of the Corniche, filled with enthusiasm and energy, to mark the momentous occasion of the country’s second National Sports Day. Refreshments were provided for all the participants at the end of the walkathon. Keeping with the spirit of Sports Day, a couple of employees donated blood at the Hamad Medical Corporation blood donation camp present at the premises.

Expressing their support towards the national initiative, Mr. U. Achu, Group General Manager of Dyarco said, “As part of the nation’s belief in the importance of sports, this eventful day has provided a great opportunity for the nation to focus on the positive impact of sports and fitness in life. The walkathon was a great success, giving the message of a sound body and mind. As office goers, we rarely incorporate physical activity into our daily lives; formulation of the sports day was a national awakening for everyone to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.”
